Risk Assessments are very crucial as it gives the first hand information & data regarding the nature of the job to execute activities in order to implement the new technology in the regular manufacturing operations. The why? - Gives information about activities & their associated risks, hazards & control measures. - Pre-alignment for communication with plant safety, project and operations teams, as well as documentation & record maintenance. - Highlights risks that affect KPIs that would affect & disrupt production, manufacturing value stream & supply chain. - Can be used as a reference to plan the roll - out of the technology, ensuring smooth transition. Assess the Risks, perform the activities safely & Roll Out the new technology!

Avant même de se lancer dans une analyse de risque il faut bien définir le périmètre de l’apport de cette technologie . Pour le domaine aéronautique, Parle t on du produit , du process sans effet produit ou enfin d’une technologie qui affecte le produit? La tactique de mise en ?uvre du plan de déploiement dépend de cette évaluation. Le risque le plus important est celui de se tromper de case . Pour s’en convaincre il suffit de regarde le cas de la fabrication additive qu’on pensait seulement dans la case process et qui en fait est aussi dans la case produit - process . Ce point est d’autant plus clé qu’il peut définir la logique de collaboration , ou celle de la protection d’une technologie qui devient différentiante pour le business

La plupart de ces technologies ne sont pas largement déployées . La conséquence est que les rares compétences critiques sont à la fois sur le sujet de la maturation et celui du coaching … ce qui est rapidement problématique. Il est indispensable de faire monter en compétences des ingénieurs en apprentissage ou des salariés motivés pour prendre le relai sur les plans d’essai et ainsi répartir les activités ou à défaut de confier à des tiers sélectionnés le soin de le faire pour vous avec le risque de voir vos belles technologies se retrouver sur marche alors que vous ne le souhaitiez pas .
