Another very important point to consider when requesting a raise is referring to your past achievements. This is something I personally use. If you work as a web designer in a company, you should have an annual report about yourself. You need to have this report that you have put so much time, how much potential you had, how profitable it was for the company, how much you contributed to the challenges the company had, and how you tried to solve it. These are the reports that a web designer should have and should refer to.
