The Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI) helps teams understand their conflict-handling styles and adapt strategies for more effective resolution. TKI identifies five conflict styles: competing, collaborating, compromising, avoiding, and accommodating. I introduced the TKI assessment to my team to help members understand their preferred conflict styles. This awareness allowed us to adopt more effective strategies for handling disagreements, leading to a more cohesive and productive team dynamic.
