Win lies in the conflict. In fact, let's not call it conflict, call it diligent evaluation. I always question a solution being presented to me and prompt some other options to the technical architects. And in my experience, it works not because the architect didn't know about those options but because it just opens another thread in the thought process / brainstorming. Evaluation of those options based on defined criteria is what leads to final choice. And these criteria have to be chosen based on business needs and priorities. Without this context, the decision could be wrong when it seems right ...because something that worked in one situation might not work in another situation. And it goes beyond technical evaluation

Sincerely, I think the word 'conflict' is not used correctly here. I would rephrase it to 'different viewpoints'. We got to believe that everyone in the team is sincerely trying to contribute positively. From each viewpoint, we get to see a different perspective. The goal here is to find the best way ahead. At times during discussions with my clients, we may have different viewpoints, but soon after, we come to a conclusion: 'Why not do both?', since both don't clash with each other/need a slight tweak to contain 2 good checkpoints which covers the areas we are observing. In short, embrace different viewpoints and build a comprehensive solution. Appreciate them. More angles covered means less chance of failure.

And the last but not the least and in my opinion, the most important aspect (coming from an introverted perspective and through personal experience), Do Not invade into someone’s work without talking to them first. Lead yours, if you have new ideas, get into a meeting, resolve professionally.
