Implementing AR requires not only setting SMART goals (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound), but also integrating continuous user feedback. This process not only validates the project's direction but also enhances usability and acceptance of the final product. It helps developers adjust and improve the experience as needed, ensuring it meets users' real expectations and needs.

Make sure the problem being solved fits the technology. The AR experience has to accomplish the goal, business objective, or learning needs. Fight the urge to use it just for the sake of using it. Clearly identify how it will work early when establishing the SMART goals.

Work with your client early and often to establish a demo cadence along the way. Clients need to see the progress at every step. There should be no surprises in the deliverables at any stage. Your client needs to be an active and present partner in the process with timely feedback and dialog.

Keep regular schedule meetings or progress reports to keep the client informed. This reduces the likelihood of surprises and allows for continuous feedback.

Identify all of the functionality needed or wanted at the beginning. Have examples as close to the deliverables as possible so your client knows how it will look and behave.
