“Soft skills,” as a term, always strikes me as a misnomer because it seems to at least potentially imply a lesser importance than “hard skills” may carry (be it because soft skills can seem harder to formally measure or because not everyone necessarily values them as highly due to the possible complexity of assessing their impact).
