There is a thing called filling the gaps horizontally. As an intern, you can volunteer to fill some of the gaps available at your level. These can be some communications between cross departments, or picking up a project that is important but not that urgent, etc. This will not only give you exposure, but also multifold experience.

Honestly? Seeking feedback is a tired, tired concept. Everyone is tired of being asked did they get excellent service or whatever. It's just such a mechanical and soulless way to learn, and it sounds far too much like fishing for praise, which has no learning value to it anyway. You don't want to be rated, you want to be recognized. How can I help? What could I have done better? Are there examples of work you consider excellent? Could you walk me through an example? Re-read a slide presentation and ask about something that you didn't follow. Suggest a correction or improvement if you're invited to do so. Don't ask for feedback. Inspire it. Engage with the work. Ask for homework. More important than feedback, you'll learn your worth.

Whenever possible, seek feedback. If it is good feedback, reinforce the qualities which brought the good feedback. If is bad feedback, than work on the bad qualities which brought the bad feedback.

Concordo com feedbacks, porém já é possível encontrar empresas que o feedforward é mais valioso que o feedback. Como um estagiário, se torna mais interessante em se concentrar no futuro e nas habilidades que deseja adquirir do que ficar sempre olhando para os eventos passados e no que eles poderiam ser melhor.. Costumo dizer que Feed (Alimentar) Back (Passado) concentra-se em ficar vivendo e tentando melhorar atos que já se foram. Já o Feed(Alimentar) Forward(Futuro) irá sempre te guiar para os objetivos a serem alcan?ados. Saber dosar estes dois momentos é uma ferramenta poderosa para sua carreira.

1. Find your champion. Do good work. Present it. Ask for help improving it. See who responds. 2. Define your own goals as clearly as you can. If you have a well-defined challenge, someone will help you. (If they won't, don't seek a job there!) 3. Success is 90% showing up. Be punctual, prepared, and present. That's soooo much more important than impressing people with technical skill or speed. 4. Unless you want a life of heads-down code-slinging, learn business communications. Learn a little about technical marketing, product management, security and governance. Your code doesn't mean jack if it doesn't attend to the way the business accounts for and audits itself. Trust me on that.

Keep your own records of your work, learning, and projects. You never know what aspects of your experience will be important from an industry perspective in a couple years. No ones does, but they might have more experience at reading the signs that things are changing.. A version-control system like git is something I now consider table stakes. If you don't know git as if it's second nature, you're already behind. But don't focus on having to learn it. Focus on what you will get by using it. I'm dead serious about that. If the work you do as an intern leaves no time for summarizing what you've done and reflecting on doing a better job next time, you're really cheap labor, not an intern. Do not let any company treat you that way.
