I strongly agree. Being manager or supervisor it's our JD to assess the potential of our co-team member, right person at right place or right person for right job is essence of team. Once we do that no one can stop the ship. Work potential, research, finding, training, development and supervision is the key to success. Success can be qualitative and quantitative. We need to understand that a layman can only do layman work, if anyone of us will place him somewhere else he may get the title filled but he may get others depressed and demotivated. I have worked in a place where un-achievable monthly target with idea of aim high was allocated every time. When U know it's not achievable U don't try and results can be worst. Just to write down un-achievable figure because U think aim high and save incentive for still achieving high without paying incentive don't work along. So we need to be broad minded too.
