Before starting actual Corporate life you must start with the Internship which give you trial working environment of corporate life. Because many times I seen with fresher joining company but not aware about work culture, work life and many other hidden corporate basic. When they join internship they come to know about corporate work life, how employee manage there day. So before joining any company you must go through the internship which is relevant to the company. I have also completed my internship at Snapdeal and learn a lot about work culture, work life and time management.

1. Get perspective on as many facets of marketing possible - this will help you understand any niche aspects of marketing you may really enjoy, or be exceptional at. 2. Not all types of marketing are the same, exposure to how these are implemented will help you build a well rounded skill set - product, brand, & affiliate marketing require different skills + tools to be successful.

Not only will you get to know them, but you will get to know the job better. 2) Try to understand how your company manages the "marketing continuity" (from strategic marketing down to sales marketing and the backloop) 3) Look towards R&D and Sales, two major partners for any marketing organization and understand how well or how bad the relationship is managed 4) Never forget the customers. Marketing is first and foremost about shifting a company's culture towards customer centricity 5) Have fun! Whatever you do (you may start with digging into huge databases, because Data is important), reflect on the value for the organization... and for you as you become a Market guru!

So while I was doing my internship I made sure that I talk and get to know every other person in the office. I did this by not missing out on any opportunity that I got to help others. On top of that, I assure you real life execution is very different from what you learned in theory. Your studies did not prepare you for the fight against resistance to change, the inside politics, the different personalities, the opinions of everyone regarding how marketing should be done. Navigating this is as much a skill set as being able to do a market study or craft a GTM strategy.

Consider testing out what you like, are looking for, or would like to do, talk a lot, don't be afraid to ask questions, clarify your doubts, listen a lot, ask for advice and tips, be curious and yes, take risks!!!
