In my opinion, Consultancy is the art of keeping the pulse of what is happening in the sector we are in, the sectors we follow and all over the world. If we think that new developing technologies are important in our business, in the workplaces we consult and in the work we will continue to do in the future, we should learn the details of the technology. Leading organizations in the sector, technology companies, technology expert leaders and associations where we follow technological developments can be the best resource providers in our learning process. Besides all these, being curious about learning, being willing and determined to follow the developments will definitely provide us many instructive keys.

To master learning and applying recent technologies in consulting, cultivate practicing the following strategies as one must stay curious, proactive, set clear learning goals, use multiple learning resources, engage with communities, set up a personal sandbox environment, stay updated, and understand client needs. Applying recent technologies involves analyzing client challenges, proposing solutions, testing in controlled environments, collaborating with teams, focusing on business value, managing risks, providing training and support, and evaluating the impact. Whatever line of business or role you are in, there is always scope for doing things better. Just embracing the mindset that nothing is perfect and can be better or can be improved upon allows a person to stay curious and this allows the exploration of new ways or technologies to solve problems or improve processes and/or experience. And then one can devote time with a continuous learning mindset to learn just enough to be dangerous. In a nutshell, being a lifelong student leads one to becoming a master :)
