First of all i recommend to learn the representation or projection or views in 3d Space. This can be learned through Engineering Graphics/Drawing. Then learn the most basic Tool for the 3D modelling (AutoCAD) where yo can perfect in the preliminary things. Now make a step forward to learn 3d Modelling which consists of Sketcher Module, Part Modeling, Assembly, Drafting where you can perfect in 3d Designing. Next, need to Practice or develop small prototypes of Robot designs. later you can work on 3d Printing. by following this you can get a strong base in 3d modeling.
