From my point of view, it is essential to work on a strategic plan in response to our purpose that defines programs, projects, planning, stakeholders involved, deadlines, budgets, risks,... in short, a vision from the macro to the micro. This roadmap must be in continuous analysis and transformation, adapting to the environment.

As a strategist, you have to have a defined strategy around learning. Like most activities in life, you will never have enough time or enough resources to learn everything that you need to learn. Therefore, it's important to have a strategy with clear goals and deliverables that will serve as a guiding star to then prioritize the different learning opportunities that you will have.

Institutionalizing success and Individual success. I observed these relative terms in my last 20 years of online/offline career. The crucial part remains what is success? Wolfram Alpha --> Technological Singularity --> Quantum Computing --> Epistemological Methods. These terms "may be old" for me but "may not be new" for many as it kept evolving and adapts learnability. While working on few projects I found scaling up "printing ink & adhesives, recyled plastics in silicone based chemical products, paints & ancillaries, liquid based detergents" very difficult yet compelling. Solution: Talking to experts in any domain such may sound resonating with reversal of beginning that is Individual success and Institutionalizing (team) success.

Start with clear OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), focus on team building, and refine your project management processes. Think of it like building a skyscraper. The most important thing is to define an action plan that reflects your strategic learning goals. The action plan should include what are the milestones that you need to meet in order to have a successful outcome. The best action plans are the ones that breakdown the larger goals into smaller & smaller pieces to the point where you can clearly define a start date, an date, and the deliverable for each action.

Two key practices that have worked well for me: Interviewing experts & studying books. Interviewing experts & hiring coaches is a shortcut to applied knowledge. Especially if you're able to immediately apply the wisdom they provide. An expert will help you cut to the essentials. There are websites what will let you pay to talk with experts, or find them on LinkedIn and reach out directly. Studying books then reviewing notes quarterly is powerful. Find a few essential books in your area of focus. Read them and take extensive notes. Re-read your notes quarterly. You will find you are able to keep extensive key concepts and know-how top of mind. These two practices will greatly assist in your deliberate practice and speed your growth.

One of the most important things to do when you acquire new knowledge is to apply that knowledge. When you apply new knowledge, you are going to better perform at work, but you will also demonstrate to yourself and to others that the time you spend learning this new skill was a good investment. When you implement new knowledge, and your performance improves, that is the ultimate measurement of return on investment.

Reflecting on your progress is crucial but often missed is the systematic approach to reflection. Rather than sporadic introspection, schedule regular reflection sessions. Use tools like journaling to document your learning experiences, challenges, and insights. This habit not only tracks your progress but also highlights patterns in your learning process that you can leverage for improvement.
