I love to conduct research on any app with a loading experience. Doing so allows you to categorize and chart your favorite loading experiences, noting elements like animations and progress indicators. From there, identify commonalities to improve the speed (or at least perception of speed) in your app. This might involve optimizing loading times, refining animations, entertaining a user, and/or providing clear progress indicators.

A usability lab can be your superpower! By employing remote testing tools and crowd-sourced testing platforms you can bust through your feedback and improvement opportunity. Find ways to test with real users as well, you can gather valuable feedback on your design's effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Don't forget!
