Tips to improve your internal communications: Run a project post-mortem for your larger internal communications projects, where stakeholders debrief on what went well and what can be improved. For repeat internal communications projects you run (e.g. Town Halls, newsletters, tech demos, recurring employee features, etc.) create standing briefing documents or project checklists. This streamlines your efforts (saving time) and reduces error stemming from added complexity. This resource can also be improved over time. Ask yourself: “What could go wrong here?” then work backwards to mitigate risk. I say this as an eternal optimist...be pragmatic but don't perseverate.

Keep aside your ego. The company is bigger than any individual. The objective of any IC has to be centred around the target audience. Always remember, one size fits all never works for IC. Keep experimenting, A/B testing and continuous feedback mechanism either from stakeholders or your employees. Depend on analytics as much as possible.
