You should focus on 1-3 High Effort and High Quality Portfolio pieces instead of doing many small ones. Quality over Quantity. Depending on your field, you should choose a setting, style or genre to focus on in your portfolio pieces. Once you have these, you can apply to companies that use similar ones.
