If this is not possible try to read material from opposite forces to better understand polarized perspectives with the best of your critical thinking. E.g. Corporate vs NGOs, Government vs People, etc.

I find useful to write down actionable steps from the material I am learning. I try to implement it at work and evaluate it monthly to make sure I am growing and not just listening or reading stuff. You may need to be selective as you cannot implement successfully many aspects at the same time. Choose one a month, implement, monitor and evaluate if it has made a difference. Next month, add a new one but now you have two aspects to monitor and evaluate. As you can see, the process is accumulative and can give you a good progress by the end of the year. You may not succeed with all of them (12) but at least you will make progress with a few of them.
