I agree but, you should never jump all in to new technology in case it is just a fad. Rather, you should see how you can integrate new technology into what you do into your current workflow. Make the new tech work for you not vice versa.

Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in animation software, and emerging techniques by attending workshops, online courses, and industry conferences. Embrace new technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, and real-time rendering, as they reshape the landscape of animation. Diversify your skill set by exploring different animation styles, mastering various software tools, and gaining experience in related fields such as game development or visual effects. Cultivate a strong professional network in the industry to remain competitive and adaptable animation landscape.

That's right. It's very important to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies. But there's another aspect to consider. This is what balances the scales. If we only focus on new things, we neglect something just as important as the future: the past. We need to study it too. It's worth continuously observing and learning from the work of great predecessors and masters. We can't imagine how important it is to see a real Impressionist painting up close in person. If you can, always visit a good exhibition, whether it's contemporary painting, documentary photography, or the impressive works of Renaissance giants. The point is, you can learn more from the work of great artists than from anything else.

This isn't just about animation. It's about everything in life. Start building your portfolio early. It doesn't matter what you do, just start and be active on social media, even on several platforms at once. If a young beginner asks me for advice, I tell them, "Start building your portfolio and publishing your work as soon as possible." Eventually, you'll find someone who needs you specifically. It might not happen tomorrow or next week, but in 10 years, your portfolio will be impressive. You'll see how far you've come, and your work will start inspiring others. When you get your first comment like that, it will feel amazing, no matter if you've reached your ultimate goal yet or not.

I started this profession nearly 25 years ago. It's always been my passion. It gives me freedom. Here, I can create the world I want with no compromises. If you love doing this, you'll learn something new every day. The most important thing is not to let a single day go to waste. Time slips by quickly, and before you know it, 10-20 years have flown by. I have a rule: no matter what, I must do something from the heart every day. Even after 25 years, I’m still learning. For a long time, I avoided character animation because I was afraid of it. Then an animator told me it was very difficult to learn. That annoyed me so much that I decided to learn it immediately! Now, I can work with characters too. It’s not easy, but it’s not impossible.
