Foster a culture of continuous learning by promoting self-directed learning and providing access to resources such as books, online courses, and industry publications. Encourage team members to share new knowledge and insights with each other.

I worked with a team leader to create a "Skill Swap Ecosystem" due to them struggling with traditional learning initiatives. Team members became both teachers and students, sharing their unique expertise. We introduced "Failure Fridays" - a safe space to discuss setbacks and extract lessons. Motivate growth best by using curiosity to explore interests and passions of team members. Find out what matters to them and encourage them to become the team expert in that area. Give them time “off” to invest in their skills without telling them which training or method of learning they need to utilize so the value of growth is personalized and activated in the corporate culture. Lastly, give them innovative, fresh perspectives on areas of skill-development rather than providing the programs/content that simply “checks the box” of learning requirements.
