Quizás en nuestra vida laboral o personal nos han ense?ado que cuando necesitamos decir algo que no nos gusta, simplemente lo digamos o peor aún lo callamos, asumiendo que las personas involucradas se darán cuenta solas del problema. Sin embargo, ese es el error más común que cometemos. Tenemos que acostumbrarnos y acostumbrar a los demás a potenciar nuestra comunicación, la cual es tan poderosa como nosotros mismos creamos. Ahora bien, ya ganando confianza en este punto, podemos establecer estrategias de comunicación, conocidas como Feedback o Feedforward, de acuerdo a la situación. Los aspectos principales que debemos tomar en cuenta para un proceso efectivo de retroalimentación son: - Trata a los demás como quieres ser tratado - Adopta una postura de aprendizaje y recuerda que para garantizar un buen feedback ambas personas deben reconocer los puntos a mejorar. En el plano terrenal, nadie es perfecto - Comienza destacando lo positivo de las personas, así la predispones a la apertura - Como dijo Carnegie, si comienzas atacando lo más natural será que la otra persona busque defenderse y así cierras cualquier oportunidad de acuerdo - Exprésate para que el otro te entienda, utiliza reafirmadores: ?Tienes alguna duda? ?Crees que fui claro o necesitas que reafirme algo? ?Cuál será nuestro compromiso mutuo?
