Primeiro, o gestor deve conhecer bem o seu time e, sobretudo entender também, de cada um, as necessidades e aspira??es ou seja, algo que os motive e que realmente desejam fazer. Em seguida, sim, iniciar o processo de delega??o (e n?o delarga??o de atividades). Compreender quais s?o os staffs que, uma vez delegados em atividades as performam sozinho e, quais os outros que sempre v?o precisar de um determinado tipo de acompanhamento. Porém, algo importante é, delegar e acompanhar. Tanto quem performa bem sozinho quanto, àqueles que também requerer?o uma aproxima??o maior.

Uma vez condicionados os processos de conhecimento de time, constru??o de confian?a, delega??o de autoridade e empoderamento há o ponto crucial onde Deming já dizia em seu ferramental de PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) ou seja, cabe agora o processo de revis?o sobre a a??o e corre??es de cursos por meio da atividade de retroalimenta??o. O estabelecimento das reuni?es períodicas de 1:1 com os reportes diretos, com cada membro da equipe (havendo o tempo e oportunidade) e, também, as reuni?es de gest?o (gestor com os membros de reporte direto) e geral (todos os staffs da equipe), se fazem necessárias para ter a vis?o e retroalimenta??o das energias e atividades. é importante estabelecer, nestas reuni?es/encontros o momento para descontra??o.

I come from a family where my parents prefer to do tasks themselves rather than passing it on to others to do. This is because they want it done in a certain way that they do not trust others to deliver on. I carried this trait with me into my professional journey. At the start of my career, I would rather get things done myself than delegate to others. This was reinforced when I noticed my other colleagues do same. About a year into my career, I started experiencing burnout and was unable to meet deadlines. A senior colleague encouraged me to offload some of the tasks to other junior colleagues to help. This shot up my task-completing rates and some sanity.
