I have always be enthusiastic about IT. What got me thinking was when I dived deep into it and begin to realise the diverse fields that it comes with. Initially I wanted to learn the most popular languages and most recommended tools. I started learning everything and anything that could help me land great contracts. But overtime I came to the realisation that hey you can't learn it all you need to specialise. So I started focusing more on languages and tools that I can dig deeper easily. I began giving more attention to the tools that I love to work with and that has been great for me so far. I wished i knew or I come to that realisation earlier, because it will be a smooth process. The experience however has been great.

As a professional IT consultant is easy to skip rest time. It can be obvious that at some point you may not be able to differentiate between the best time to work or rest, when you're outsourcing. You are likely to be trapped in the work mode such that you might postpone rest, that is why you're most likely to be locked in stress. Hence to manage the stress component, you will have to set timelines and Milestones in your work schedules and apportion enough time to sleep and for vacations. One Japanese principle is to set 5 mins break after every 25 mins of work as the best way to balance work with rest. This also helps improve focus
