Goals need to align with company and product Vision, but they also need to be realistic in terms of the team′s capacity and capability. To ensure you stay realistic, involve the team in the process: ??Set SMART goals WITH the team. ??Get their sign in: The Team MUST be commited to properly deliver. ??Keep motivation: Whenever is possible, let them choose how to collaborate to the goal. When constaints exist, let them suggest how to accomodate to them. ??Monitor, adjust, pivot when necessary.
