Before even thinking about all of the UX basics it's important to understand human beings in general.The philosophical and psychological aspects of being a human( Eg.Maslow's hierarchy ) In an evolutionary standpoint all human beings are 99% similar and only 1% unique. But that 1% is so unique that the probability of finding another you is 1: 4-Trillion ! ! You have to entertain the psychological factors into your product thinking process (eg.Nir eyal). I firmly believe your base for ux should first start from observing human beings around you. And the rest, your curiousity will guide you. (Obviously to the internet! ?? )

To get better at designing user-friendly technology, start by learning what users really need through research and testing. Follow basic rules like making things easy to use and accessible to everyone. Stay updated on new ideas and tools in design, and think creatively to solve problems. Ask others for feedback to improve your work over time, and try to learn more about how things look and work together. Keep things simple and clear in your designs to make them easier for everyone to use. By doing these things, you can keep getting better at making technology that people find helpful and easy to use.

I think reading books for starters would be a good idea. I myself started UX by reading books; a book that I started was “UX for beginners” written by Joel Marsh. I really recommend reading it.
