Feedback definitely plays an important role. My experience has been mixed here. Leaders seek feedback but at times become vindictive if the feedback given to them is critical or not to their liking. Also most of the times, leaders seek feedback in an open meeting where most of the team members end up expressing positive things. This does not help leaders to bring desired change in their style. I still believe anonymous feedback through tools like 360 degree is better. Leaders should use such feedback received used for enhancing self awareness, and to further develop new behaviour.
