Now you have the certification - and the PROOF you know your stuff.

On my own job searches networking was important but I did this a little bit uniquely. I would reach out to former employees in the area I was trying to get a job. So, I was seeking sales roles and I would use LinkedIn to find people who formerly worked at the hiring company, reach out to them, and ask for a call. More than 50% of the people I asked, had that short call with me. I got great advice from this and in one case avoided a very bad working environment. They key thing with networking is be old and ASK for that call, ask for help, and you shall... receive!

Interview prep to help you stand out and become memorable is not only possible... it's a process and I'll share a few key points. 1.) Visit the LinkedIn profile of the person you will be interviewing with, you will learn about them so you can interview better with them, and they will also get a profile view notification and this will show them you have hustle and are good at preparation. They may also visit your profile. 2.) Next - the best interviews I've ever had were the ones where I did strong research about the history, executives, and products of the company. I would review the information and then combine that knowledge with some of my own experience and document 2-3 new strategy ideas and share them in the interview. I stood out!
