To be an active listener means to consciously humble yourself to a place where you are seeking to learn from whoever you are talking to. Rather than listening to respond, listen to understand. Muitas vezes no nosso dia a dia entramos no modo automatico e acabamos nos tornando pessoas superficiais e quando trabalhamos com pessoas, precisamos parar, respirar e se atentar ao que esta sendo dito, isso demonstra o quanto o outro e sua opini?o importa.

Uma vez no meu trabalho uma colega estava aflita me trouxe um desafio que n?o estava conseguindo solucionar, foi descrevendo o ocorrido, ent?o, com ouvidos atentos fui prestando aten??o em todos os detalhes da situa??o-problema, fazendo anota??es que entendi serem pertinentes para buscarmos juntas a solu??o do problema, desta forma ela foi se acalmando pois viu que trataríamos juntas esta quest?o. Após feito mapeamento da situa??o em quest?o conversamos sobre as possíveis alternativas para resolu??o e em conjunto conseguimos chegar na resolu??o do tema.

I have come to the conclusion that a lot of people ask questions without being genuinely interested in the other persons answer or not willing to to change their own mind based on the answer given. Questions often change into arguments because people are not willing to open their minds and accept other people's views and opinions.

Todas as vezes que s?o apresentadas novos projetos em meu trabalho, busco entender todas as etapas que este projeto deve percorrer, desde antes do seu início, ou seja, seu planejamento. Após compreender através de perguntas suas fases e datas de entrega, para que desta forma todos os envolvidos possam estar alinhados e realizar a melhor entrega de sua parte.

Gute Fragen zu stellen, effektiv zu hinterfragen erm?glicht nicht nur mein Gegenüber zu reflektieren und zu überlegen, sondern auch mir mich mit dem Thema oder dem anliegen intensiv auseinanderzusetzen. I couldn’t agree more on this point. Being open to hearing and trying new ideas will always lead to something better. It may not have the intended outcome but it strengthens the team and always leads to an improvement somewhere.
