In the market, there are tools available for each type of task, and we should utilize these tools to our advantage. For bug management, we can use JIRA or BugZilla, for time management, Tempo a plugin within JIRA and for test management, Zephyr Squad, for code we have Github. The benefit of using such tools in a project is that they typically come with dashboards that display all relevant project information. This reduces the time spent on analysis or refinement, as the information is presented in an easily understandable format for both the team and stakeholders. Teams should be encouraged to regularly check these dashboards to track project progress and ensure they are using the tools effectively.

When focusing on continuous improvement, we should develop a strategy, as it will be a long-term process requiring time and effort. Feedback is essential for continuous improvement as it helps identify areas where we are lacking and need to focus on. If the feedback involves upskilling, we should select skills that are currently trending in the market and relevant to our domain, ensuring we have a proper roadmap. Feedback can be verbal or written, constructive or positive. Regardless of the type of feedback, the intention should be to learn from it and implement changes for improvement. Additionally, if there is feedback from the client regarding task priorities, those tasks should be picked first. By prioritizing tasks effectively, we can utilize our resources efficiently & deliver the project successfully.

The team should be encouraged to log their time daily to help track time details effectively. While logging time, testers should provide detailed descriptions of the tasks they performed to ensure their productivity is clear throughout the day. If testers encounter issues with build quality or delays in build release from the developers, they should promptly raise these issues with the team so appropriate actions can be taken and testers are not blocked. Additionally, if the number of regression issues or reopened issues is higher than expected, this should be reported, as such problems increase testing time and impact the product's quality.
