Gerade in den Bereichen Nachhaltigkeit, CSR bzw. ESG gibt es st?ndig neue Entwicklungen, so dass es zur Pflicht eines CSR Managers geh?rt sich st?ndig weiterzuentwickeln. Am Besten gelingt dies durch a) kontinuierliche Weiterbildung sowie b) durch st?ndigen Austausch im eigenen Nachhaltigkeitsnetzwerk. Ein dritte M?glichkeit ist die Teilnahme and Kongressen oder Veranstaltungen um up to date zu bleiben. Generell sollte man die verschiedenen M?glichkeiten ausprobieren und sich dann auf die fokussieren, welche einem pers?nlich am Besten zusagt.

I recall stating this in another article. CSR is evolving. It's growing up as the world is facing issues where corporates can contribute to overcome. People/plannet Environmental/social Corporate Sustainability In many ways this is the triple bottom line that is addressed in specific ways. However, there's expansion of the same principles broken in small sections that are high priority areas of companies. So reporting and staying up to date is a great way in which you score more and it's a competitive advantage to an organisation. Therefore it's good to be the first who does it right and therefore: empower yourself.

Neben dem reinen Faktenwissen im Bereich Sustainibility sind die soft skills von entscheidender Bedeutung, wenn man als Nachhaltigkeitsmanager erfolgreich Projekte umsetzen will. Da das Einbeziehen von internen und externen Stakeholdern elementar für den Erfolg ist, muss man gut kommunizieren und ein gewisses Verhandlungsgeschick haben. Das gute daran ist, das auch diese F?higkeiten trainierbar sind. Also ruhig auch mal Trainings oder Kurse in diesen Bereichen absolvieren auch wenn sie zun?chst einmal wenig überschneidung mit Nachhaltigkeitsthemen zu haben scheinen.
