To be perfectly honest I'm not a language researcher. I'm a language tutor, taking care of student in different ages and development phases. I try to put into practice the newest results of language research and try to adapt them to their specific learning and communicative needs. To my mind, a multimethodological and personalized approach are fundamental.

*Avoid over-complicating or over-simplifying concepts. *Ensure your target audience is like-minded and receptive to the information you've researched. *Take real-life instances into account to make your argument plausible. *Speak the language of your readers whilst still maintaining your refulgence. *Regularly participate in conferences, seminars, webinars, and other prospective programmes. *Make sure you're open to feedback. *Be up-to-date with the trends in the field. Read and review primary, secondary, and tertiary sources. *Above all, learn to enjoy your subject and reminisce as to why you love it in the very first place.

Communicating a research content in linguistics means you add a value to the community. For example, your review to previous studies and finding some practical issues that need urgent intervention in order to promote overall research is an idea that one should ponder over. When it comes to Linguistics, the study of language is intricately connected with the theory of generative grammar, which was pioneered by Noam Chomsky. Simplicity seems to be an easy thing to see, yet it comes from a tight observation through data and complex analysis. This is actually a challenge for linguist to accommodate wider audiences. Using concrete analogy enhances possibility for them to understand the complexity in simple way. The challenge is considering the right, appropriate, and closest illustration as Linguistics deals with abstract conception. Be very careful not to confuse visual and auditory help as a means to boost a flair for the dramatic. There's one thing about engaging the audience, and that is to capture their interest where it really lies: their needs. That's your advantage and can be augmented visually and audibly. Do not however go over the top with the theatricality.

Try to relate to your audience. On one occasion just before starting my talk (in a university in Cennai ) regarding the selection of appropriate methodology for a applied linguistics research study, I realised that a large percentage of the audience were Gujeratis so I ( a Malaysian) started with a greeting in Gujerati. This caught the attention of the audience and they listened raptly to my 30 minute talk and had many questions to ask.
