In order for tests to be achieved thoroughly, we usually need to make testing scenarios that cover all the possible ways of testing a system/application etc. This does not include only the way the system/app supposed to be used but also the ways that it shouldn't. This should be done because the end users do not follow necessarily the way of using the system/app we as developers think they will. Therefore by testing thoroughly including every aspect will help in providing a user friendly and easy to use product. After making scenarios, the bugs or proposals/suggestions should be categorized how critical something it is and eventually can be fixed.

In my experience, writing test cases for my code not only helps my team better maintain our codebase, but also helps me better understand the own code I've written. Maybe I forgot to address edge cases in my code, or maybe I introduced bugs that I didn't catch when I first wrote the code? Regardless, writing test cases helps address those issues and so many more.

Do negative testing! Just avoid only testing it with scenarios it's designed to handle... Always introduce some broken or unconventional inputs. Include tests which ensures you're not solely following the happy path ???? Remember, testing for failure scenarios is as crucial as testing for success
