Comúnmente me encuentro con líderes que me plantean que la humildad puede hacerlos débiles. Hace algunos a?os di lugar a esa interpretación y me dediqué a buscarle sentido a ello. Encontré la humildad tiene acepciones etimológicas inciertas pero opuestas. Por un lado significa reconocer nuestras bajezas, errores, tocar tierra. Pero, por el otro lado, encontré que tiene relación con hincarse ante los dioses, reyes o superiores. De allí que el humilde puede ser humillado. Como salida a esta encrucijada, ya que reconocer nuestros errores resulta necesario para evolucionar, encontré una emoción que describe mejor esta situación: LA MODESTIA.
