This is achievable in different ways but I will start with a quote “ Learning is endless”. First of all, planning is key. With that, other things can fall in only with Determination and self actualization” and also understanding the key changes in your career which will give a leverage for development. In summary, things to note: ~Self awareness ~Knowing one’s tendencies ~Disentangle from any form of distraction.

In my experience as a life and leadership coach working with clients to discover new opportunities and passions in late career often starts with deliberate reflections where they consider their situation not just deeply but also broadly. Then what often transpires is the "new" opportunities and passions that get brought to the forefront of their minds are opportunities and passions that they have socialised with as an idea in the past but didn't thoroughly consider. So, they become "missed opportunities" or "forgotten passions". Instead of dwelling on regret of not carpe diem-ing back in the day, reflect on the needs and priorities you had to meet at that time. What have you learned and tangibly gained from meeting those needs?

I recommend making a full life scan. Look at both business and private life, at passions as well as hobbies. Is there something that stands out? Something that you always wanted to do, but never did? Something you are very good at, but never tried to make a career out of it? Pretty sure there is a lot of inspiration coming up rn.

Self education is so important. It keeps you upgraded to the current tools and techniques. Consistency with learning is important.

From the diligent reflection exercise, I've noticed that clients seem to naturally have their curiosity switch turned ON, shifting their mindset towards exploring and creating possibilities for themselves. The outcomes aren't always pivoting their careers. A lot of clients also end up deepening or broadening into the career paths that they already are on. This stems from the realisation of what they are truly passionate about and the realities of their circumstances. E.G.1: client thought that they didn't have the means (skills, resources, support, etc) to go after their dreams when they in fact do. E.G.2: client realised that they actually love what they do but their environment is stifling their growth and look to change that instead.

I emphasise on the importance of learning, Learning is the only process that has no limits and none in the age perspective. And I believe that a life coach would be the best companion when transitioning from one career to another.

I honestly believe, if you are ready for a change, you are ready! If there is a passion, you will start. Recognize that we can have many passions and each of our passions has a role to play. Some passions are simply meant for ourselves and some may be for sharing. Whether for yourself or others, some of these passions are purely a way for you to express your love. Whereas, some passions are exactly what you want to make a livelihood off. Also, know that your passions can evolve as you gain experiences in life or driven by the changes in your circumstances. Give yourself the permission to explore new horizons and reinvent yourself. Invite the universe to co-create something that will bring you joy, fulfilment, success, peace, a pleasant surprise by saying “I wonder…” It needs to be in present tense, non specific, without who? what? when? where? why? Eg my daily mantra is “I wonder how I can make the biggest difference, with the least amount of effort, whilst having the most fun, for the highest good of all.”
