You simply cannot think only from the environmental or social perspective when you think about sustainability. Why? Because companies need to make profit to sustain themselves. So, it is always about drawing that balance where a company is making enough profits out of its business, all the while paying enough attention to environmental and social consequences. It's all about the synergy of people, planet, and profits. A company can sustain for a long-term only when it takes care of all the 3 aspects simultaneously. It is often quite hard to do so, since the 3 aspects come with trade-offs. How to balance it all out? That is where you come into play.

Acquiring new certification shows your commitment towards learning about sustainability and, you can start off through linkedin as well. LinkedIn learning provides some of the updated courses on sustainability and you can start off from there. Not to mention, having a certification is good for not only your professional growth but personal growth as well. The certificate itself works as a reward that motivates you to keep on learning about sustainability, which is always a plus.
