There are so many pathways that opens up due to CSR internships. I recall one of our colleagues just doing a 3 month internship and ending up joining the company afterword's. Volunteering, charity and internships all serve a purpose in your resume. All these gives you exposure, regardless of the pay you earn or the time you spent. If you are on a corporate set up, you will definitely get an understanding of the company and also would be able to contribute to the greater good.
