Life is a continuous process of learning and growth, and it is imperative then to do research every time and to innovate be it in small things like 'how to be more efficient and effective in one's work' or to 'create new product' in one's field of expertise. Without research, learning and growth you are stagnant and stunted!!

Volunteer. Ask professors to be a part of projects, get any and all experience that you can get. Learn from a myriad of people. Over time, you'll be able to start understanding research, but also what you do and don't like. You'll home in on skills that are essential for success.

You can find research papers, journals and article related to your research fields but new papers and seminars will help you to keep updated. One can also follow key personality or institutions in the respective fields for gathering resources and keeping themselves updated.

I have had the experience of analyzing data for a research project on the impact of social media on mental health. I collected data from a variety of sources, including social media posts, surveys, and interviews. I then used statistical methods to analyze the data and identify patterns and trends. For example, I found that people who use social media more frequently are more likely to report symptoms of depression and anxiety. This research helped me to better understand the relationship between social media and mental health.

Analysing the data can be interesting process if we know how to do it, on the other hand it can also be a nightmare. It is somewhat like opening up gift boxes we've been receiving over years and we never know what's inside (unless pipeline/interim analysis have been done), the excitement accompanied with a greater responsibility. Looking for significant trends in data, relationships between the variables, correlating dependent variables with the independent ones, demographical analysis keeping in mind our research objectives and research hypothesis. It's always a good option to have a biostastician in the project or atleast in vicinity who can be consulted in case of any proublem or conflicting findings while analysis.

During analyzing data, one should think critically. Without knowing or understanding the context of the data you may end up your research which is not validate. Reading and understanding data is essential to make your research arguments sharp. Arguments backed by strong data make huge impacts on reader. For example, during the first phase of Iranian election, trunout was nearly 39 percent. People reached at conclusion that they have lost faith in Iranian Political System. But in second round when a reformist managed to reach at second phase, turnout reached 49.5 percent. It means Iranians have not lost faith in system rather they don't want orthodox leader to rule. That's why they came and voted for reformist.

Understanding your audience or reader one should organise their data. It helps attacking people to read your work. Using Visual methods helps to engage reader otherwise they feel bored while reading.

When data has been analyzed, it is important to organize the data having the audience in mind. We need to understand whether the receiver is technical or non technical. The format of your report - either oral or written - also matters. In an oral presentation, you're available to provide extra information but in written, you provide the information without leaving too many gaps. One thing I find helpful is that I create two version of every story - technical and non technical. I also focus on story telling rather than putting all the data in the report. I add data that summarize the story and provide all controls as additional information or data.

Effective organization of research findings is essential for clarity and communication. Structuring your data into a coherent format helps in making complex information accessible and understandable. Using outlines, reports, and visual aids like charts and graphs can significantly enhance the presentation of your findings. A well-organized research document guides the reader through your thought process, making it easier to follow your arguments and conclusions. But the results can be put in a presentable manner that is: 1) easy to understand 2) convenient for the first time interpreter 3) uses multiple formats including writing, slideshows, infographics to make it comprehensive. 4) crisp and curated 5) excellent communication skills This all will hold the audience for longer and keep them interested in unfolding the research topic layers.
