SMART goals are massively useful tool for setting goals. I use this for my team on a monthly, quarterly, and annually basis. It’s pretty straightforward therefore allowing it to be understand by everyone!

The best way I can understand this is like having a financial goal. Want to take the family to Disney this summer? Set up a savings goal to reach and when summer comes you can go or if you didn’t achieve your goal you understand how to do better and either 1) extend the goal timeframe 2) change the destination!

Most people are visual learners so having a goal that can be done visually is paramount! An example is on the streaming service Twitch. Lots of these streamers will have Follower Goals and a status bar to show progress! It’s not all about percentages! Get creative!

Supervisor should time to time monitor out put of team members and their progress. the time line should be checked that goals are achieved as planned. and simultaneously ensure providing any guidance which is needed.
