In one PEB project, the client requested a last-minute addition of mezzanine floors. This required changes to the load-bearing elements and connections. Here’s how I managed the process: 1.Quickly gathered the design team to evaluate the impact on the structural integrity and project timeline. 2.Prepared detailed revised drawings and specifications, clearly marking the changes. 3.Held an on-site meeting with the contractors, presenting the revised 3D models. 4.Provided additional things on the new connection details and load distribution for the mezzanine floors. 5.Actively listened to the construction team’s feedback, which led to minor adjustments in the design to facilitate easier implementation without compromising structural integrity.
