As Asia's largest eyewear manufacturer, our #WarehouseWarriors are a critical part of our #LensTribe. And as such, empowering them with the necessary tools and skills is a must ?? Last year, we established an in-house?training initiative, #Gurukul. The curriculum was designed to equip new personnel with the necessary skills and process knowledge to excel in their job, It emphasizes hands-on learning, practical activities, and close collaboration with departments. In the training program, the candidate goes through classroom sessions, practical sessions and on the job?training. The training course is crafted as per the competence needed and the tenure of the program varies from 5 man-days to 29 man-days. Before deployment on the floor the person works on live orders for 2 to 3 days to get s practical understanding of operations and shop floor. Till date #Gurukul?has successfully trained around 1250+ candidates,?800 of them are highly skilled trained for QC and Fitting.?Overall, contributing over 23000 man hours of OJT, 28000 man hours of Classroom training and a whopping 46000 man hours of practical training.
