Knowing thyself is important as a practitioner in the film industry. I knew from day one that I was a natural storyteller, ultra creative, a sucker for organization, and predictive/proactive solution-oriented so I leaned towards Screenwriting, Film Editing, Co-Production, and Distribution. I also knew that I wasn't at my best with visual compositions, so I steered clear of Directing and Cinematography, and only imbibed a working knowledge from these two. Today, knowing myself has really helped me to find my place in the film industry.
