Understanding how people process information in their brains is a game changer First- if you have a logical introverted boss they dont want long flowery or emotionally charged emails and wordy pitches. Start with solution oriented factual short and simple. Use a tangible example but make sure it aligns with the end goal and is very relevant Be passionate but succinct. If your boss is creative- they want to hear the why and ideas and values. They will be excited about the new. Being agile in the hierarchy of how you share your ideas and pitches is important and a key to getting attention. If you understand thinking styles (both yours and theirs) you’ll hear more yes ‘s!
