Read the job description very carefully and multiple times. There is a lot of information in the job description. Try to understand what the employer and hiring manager are looking for and prepare accordingly.

Here are some of my best approaches to tackle any data interview. 1. Data Retrieval/Manipulation: Try to gain mastery over SQL to retrieve and manipulate data; Pandas would be good to have as well 2. Solid understanding of fundamentals of statistics: Regardless of what level you're apply for, knowledge of statistics is a must. 3. Case Questions: Prepare for data case questions, you should ideally be able to analyze a problem statement from multiple perspectives.

Things like programming languages, machine learning algorithms, statistical concepts, and etc. are just tools for this trade ???. One who can create value, especially at a senior level, is expected to be more experienced in the core concepts of data science, the methodologies and approaches to solve problems, and etc. Otherwise, basic knowledge of these tools is expected even at junior levels.

Be confident in your skills, share real world examples, and demonstrate your passion for problem solving. Highlight your unique experiences, show enthusiasm for learning, and communicate effectively to showcase your personal strengths and make a lasting impression.

Not only refresh the details (including programming logic) of the past projects but also develop ability to explain higher level goals, challenges, benefits/savings of from project. Tailor your response to highlight aspects of your skills that are relevant to the job description.
