Priorizar tarefas n?o se trata somente de se mensurar custo de manuten??o mas também ter em vista os impactos de curto, médio e longo prazo, métodos de classifica??o por criticidade ajuda na tomada de decis?o, realizar planejamento horas de opera??o necessária para se alcan?ar metas de produ??o mas contemplando o tempo de manuten??o, tempo este que quando n?o utilizado de forma consciente gera aumento do custo e perda de produtividade.

In my own experience, to be able to save costs on maintenance is to always plan timely, resource well, execute as planned, and always do your maintenance at low demand times, as this will give you time to execute your jobs without the demand of production, and you will have time to test run your equipment, re adjust and hand over with all commissionings done, ready for the production people.

Besides identifying the critical Technologies/Equipments/Assets, and obviously prioritizing their Repairs at the opening of the monthly budget kickoff window. One thing I've found helpful, is to extend the High level Preventive Maintenance for high cost maintenance (Level 3 and Level 4), while increasing the low cost Level 1 and Level 2 PM's. This should be done in alignment with Quality, Reliability, and Operations teams, to approve the deviation from one side, and to applying the proper Management Of Change, Risk Assessment, and quality controls.

A pivotal point in maintenance is to move from the reactive position, of fixing issues after the happen, to the proactive position of expecting failures. AI is a very powerful add-on, that is not properly utlilzed, to make use of the big data logs stored on Equipments and subassemblies, like mechanical/hydraulic/electronics parts, to anticipate failures and intervene before they do happen.

One thing I've found helpful is holding regular quality stand-down meetings, for the Team, to share knowledge between team members, highlight issues and concerns and discuss how to get them rectified, and to recognize ideas and contributions from individuals.

Achei muito útil, pois a revis?o do PMP é muito importante para manuten??o 1- Custo: Controlar o custo passa ser um objetivo da manuten??o, a gente n?o pode tirar o olho dele de forma alguma, utilizando somente o justo e necessário para manter os ativos; 2- Eficiência: Uma das principais fun??es do gestor de manuten??o é identificar as atividades que ocupam mais tempo de planta parada e reduzir cada vez esse tempo, e a revis?o do PMP tem por objetivo garantir a disponibilidade e confiabilidade dos ativos, de forma produtiva. 3- Melhoria Continua: Sempre estar em busca da excelência, quando realmente você possui a mentalidade de melhoria contínua, você deve achar um ponto onde tem a saúde dos ativos e saúde financeira da empresa.
