In order to help executives, to break through change acceptance barriers during coaching, it is important to focus on building self-awareness and emotional intelligence, understanding their specific fears, and helping them in building a growth mindset. Best way is to first build a trusting relationship and use reflective exercises to identify and address self limiting beliefs. Additionally by equipping them with effective communication skills and practical tools for managing change, while encouraging small, manageable steps and celebrating successes to build confidence. I believe that this approach may ensure that they are better prepared to lead and embrace change effectively.

Start off y teaching the leaders that change is permanent in leadership! Leaders need to juggle multiple areas like people , process, governance etc. and some change always happen that needs to be managed. Leaders need to learn active prioritization and focus on the most important thing accept the fact that trade-off is inevitable so be bold work on being your best self and realize that you cant win by being liked but by being respected .

Like building a muscle, increasing your resilience takes time and intentionality. Focusing on connection, wellness, healthy thinking, and meaning can empower you to learn from difficult experiences. Accept that change is a part of life. Certain goals may no longer be attainable as a result of adverse situations in life. Accepting circumstances that cannot be changed can help focus on circumstances that you can alter.
