Accepting challenges is part of job/life. Just sharing my experiences. - We can keep motivating team by interacting on daily basis & discuss to get clear picture on the planned tasks. - Keep in touch for any help. Be ready to solve their problems. - know the status, check if anyone stuck with anything consuming more time than expected. Help them to get through. - Have small friendly conversions to maintain easy communication & they don't hesitate to talk with you. - Be bossy sometimes, if the team is not serious about task. Cause you have to get them on track & get the things done. Everything will be good to go. - Take updates, also share info what you are working on. So that everyone have big picture. Actually I work with remote team.

To maintain a connected and motivated remote team, active communication is essential. It's crucial to share all decisions and actions, particularly those that could impact others or the project timeline. Transparency is equally vital. Utilize collaboration tools like shared dashboards, project boards, or real-time messaging apps to ensure that no one is left in the dark. Regular retrospectives allow you to systematically review and enhance your delivery process over time. Encourage feedback from all team members, making certain that every voice is not only heard but also valued. This approach progressively creates a robust, united, and motivated team, even when working remotely.

Clear Communication: Use various communication tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom) to maintain open lines of communication and encourage regular updates and discussions. Set Shared Goals: Define clear, attainable goals for the team that everyone can work towards, fostering a sense of purpose and direction.

One should not overdo the “check-in meetings”. Yes, they do allow the developers to meet each other online and recall that they are actually working in a team with human beings, not ChatGPT;-), but many developers who work remotely have chosen this way of work because it gives them enough flexibility, and loading them with more fixed-time meetings is not always beneficial. One short (<30 min) meeting a day is more than enough for syncing purposes. Otherwise, treating remote developers in exactly the same way as the other team members greatly helps. Definitely do not keep some slack channels "for on-premises team members only".
