You have to step back and ask yourself “do I want to do everything OK, or do I want to one thing excellently?” Perfection doesn’t have to be the end goal, but sustainability and consistency is the key to growth. The classic saying “it’s better to whole-ass one thing, than to half-ass two” is pertinent here. There are always alternatives on the market and people are happy to utilise multiple tools if their experience is aided. Become a reliable resource. Understand your users. Provide value. Then you can leverage your expertise to provide additional value. Don’t bite off more than you can chew. Build a solid product, and be consistent.
