To adapt our Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory strategy, we will enhance demand forecasting using AI-driven analytics, strengthen supplier relationships for faster replenishment, and implement buffer stocks for critical components to prevent disruptions. We’ll also streamline logistics with real-time tracking and explore local sourcing to reduce lead times. Additionally, we’ll collaborate with clients to align expectations, ensuring flexibility while maintaining cost efficiency. These adjustments will keep JIT effective without compromising agility or reliability.
-
Implementing JIT is not just a question of stocking buffers, it is a question of agility. Predictive forecasting, dynamic supply agreements, and distributed fulfillment turn JIT into a competitive strategy. The key is maximizing responsiveness, not just reacting to fluctuations in demand.

We will adopt JIT. Before going for JIT strategy. We will apply PFEP, plan for every part, which will give behavior of material according We will adopt minimum Inventory level. JIT is beneficial to Customer but it can increase our Inventory Turn Ovrr ratio. To optimize Inventory Level We need to go for PFEP.

When clients push for changes in Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory, adapting the strategy involves several key steps: Reassess Demand Forecasts: Update demand forecasts to reflect new client needs. Adjust Production Schedules: Modify production to align with revised demand. Strengthen Supplier Relationships: Ensure suppliers can meet new delivery timelines. Implement Flexible Production Systems: Use lean manufacturing to adapt quickly to changes. Monitor and Improve: Continuously review and refine the JIT process to maintain efficiency.
