Balancing water needs in arid regions is a pressing issue.Moderating demand with conservation measures in all the sectors such as domestic, agriculture and industrial sector with policy change. We should implement a fair pricing index for usage of water in such areas which will help decrease the wastage. Use of water efficient technologies in households, selection of less water consuming native tree species,promote regenerative agricultural practices including drip irrigation, sprinkling system, mulching to reduce evapotranspiration, rainwater management , recycling of water and it's further utilisation, zero leakage aim with more Stakeholders adopting these measures,agreement on pricing policy and priotizatizing essential requirements.
