1) The experience level of temporary staff really matters while integrating in golf course team especially during busy season. 2) As a leader I would myself explore 2 areas-- a) the scope of work which needs the most help and b) enauring high momentum and balance of team dynamics. 3) pull up temporary staff in certain mini take such that he/she will be productive from day1 and slowly they will get full picture!

As the busy season approaches, we’re thrilled to welcome our new temporary team members to our golf course! Ensuring they feel valued and equipped is essential to delivering exceptional guest experiences. We kick things off with a comprehensive orientation, covering our mission, values, and day-to-day operations, followed by a buddy system pairing each new hire with a seasoned staff member for hands-on guidance and support. Regular check-ins and open feedback foster a supportive learning environment. We also hold weekly team-building activities to help everyone bond and create a positive atmosphere. Plus, we make it a point to recognize the efforts of our seasonal staff with shout-outs and small incentives.

First and foremost these Team Members are and will be considered part of a comprehensive group of individuals whose experiences and expertise will contribute to the Team once they are indoctrinated into the facilities culture. Secondly, the importance of their growth in assisting the Team due to their unique experiences need to be parsed out to ensure existing Team members learn as much from these individuals as they to learn from each of other Team members. Lastly, having had two previous Team members that fall into this category, it is important that I, as their Team Leader and mentor, exceed their expectations so when they head home they have grown personally and professionally.
