Following below steps can help to build a successful portfolio: 1. Always approach personal projects like a real time projects (meaning try to follow clear SDLC processes beginning with requirement analysis, design, development and testing and so on) 2. Publish your project on open source platform for more people to help you and to get better ideas and solutions. Who knows you might land your first job by connecting with people there. 3. Always have a proper documentation for your project to showcase all the use cases 4. Fewer but strong/unique use cases is better than repetitive and more use cases
