Firstly, I would create a schedule by allocating specific times for work, study, and personal activities. Sticking to this schedule as much as possible should maintain consistency and structure. Then, I will set realistic goals, breaking down my study goals into smaller, manageable tasks. Setting achievable milestones and deadlines help track one's progress effectively. Utilising my time wisely, thus identifying pockets of time throughout my day when I can study, such as during lunch breaks, commuting (if possible), or in the evenings. Maximising these moments could foster productive study sessions.

One thing I found helpful when I was working full-time and studying in a weekend cohort for my doctorate in Education was tapping in to my family and friends. I had two young children at home as well and my husband cared for them all day Saturday while I was at school. I had lots of girlfriends, who helped me in various ways to manage all the demands of motherhood and work. The other thing I would recommend is to be honest with yourself about what you’re going to give up and make the choices that resonate with you the most because something has to give— For me, that was housework!
